Ingredients

  • 400 g / 14 oz ground meat

  • 1 medium onion, chopped

  • ½ tbsp minced garlic

  • 1 tbsp tomato paste

  • 1 tsp sriracha (adjust to taste)

  • 1 tbsp PitmasterX Deli Seasoning
  • A handful of fresh parsley

  • 4 pita breads

  • 1 tbsp olive oil (for greasing the skillet)

How to

  1. Add the ground meat and chopped onion to your food processor, followed by the minced garlic, tomato paste, sriracha, PitmasterX Deli Seasoning, and fresh parsley.
  2. Blend until you have a smooth, evenly mixed meat filling.
  3. Slice the pita breads in half to create pockets and generously stuff each pocket with the meat mixture.
  4. Preheat your BBQ to medium heat and grease your PitmasterX skillet lightly with olive oil.
  5. Place the stuffed pitas in the skillet and grill them over indirect heat with the lid closed for about 10–12 minutes, flipping once, until the meat is fully cooked and the pita is golden and crispy.
  6. Remove from the grill, let them rest for a minute, and serve hot — perfect with garlic sauce or yogurt dip.
