Pizza Rolls

Pizza Rolls

These BBQ pizza rolls are the ultimate finger food—crispy, cheesy, and loaded with smoky flavor. Rolled with ham, cheese, and PitmasterX seasoning, then baked in a cast-iron pan on the BBQ, they’re perfect for parties, snacks, or a fun twist on pizza night.

Let me show you what this recipe is all about.

How to

  1. Roll out the pizza dough into a thin rectangle on a floured surface.
  2. Spread the tomato pulp evenly over the dough.
  3. Sprinkle with dried oregano and PitmasterX Classic seasoning.
  4. Lay five slices of ham across the dough, evenly spaced, and top with four slices of young cheese. Carefully roll the dough up lengthwise into a tight log.
  5. Slice the log into 2.5 cm / 1-inch thick rounds.
  6. Arrange the rolls cut-side up in a cast-iron skillet, leaving a little space between them.
  7. Place the pan in a preheated BBQ at 280°C / 535°F with the lid closed.
  8. Cook for about 20–25 minutes, or until the rolls are golden brown and bubbling. Serve warm, straight from the pan.
