How to
- Begin by preparing the shrimp. Make sure they are peeled and deveined. Next, finely chop the garlic and parsley. In a bowl, mix the shrimp with the chopped garlic, parsley, and five tablespoons of Tweety BBQ seasoning until the shrimp are evenly coated. Let this marinate for about 15 minutes to absorb the flavors. Meanwhile, fire up the barbecue to 250°C or 480°F.
- Prepare the glaze in a separate bowl by combining one tablespoon of Tweety BBQ seasoning, brown sugar, honey, and freshly squeezed lemon juice. Stir well until the mixture is smooth.
- Thread the marinated shrimp onto skewers and grill them on the barbecue on each side until they are cooked through. Once done, pour the prepared glaze over the shrimp. Toss gently to coat all the shrimp evenly.
- Serve the glazed shrimp immediately, garnished with extra chopped parsley if desired.
