The best grilled chicken sandwhich
If you talk about a chicken sandwich I don’t always need a deep-fried one. I want grilled chicken.
I am going to show you how to make the best-grilled chicken sandwich in the world.
Ingredients
- 8 chicken thighs of free-range chicken
- salt and pepper
- Japanese mayonnaise
- lettuce
- finely sliced onion rings
- 8 slices of cheese
- 6 slices of bacon
- 2 hamburger buns
For the butter
- 250 grs of butter
- 1 shallot
- 2 garlic cloves
- 2 tbsp of chopped parsley
- salt and pepper
How to
- Cut open a plastic bag and place a chicken thigh inside with a little olive oil.
- pound it with the back of a heavy pan. Do this with all the thighs.
- Season the chicken with some salt and pepper.
- Chop the shallot and press the garlic cloves. Add it with the butter with the parsley, and the salt, and pepper. Mix it all up.
- Fire up your grill, slice the buns, spread on some of the butter and toast them
- Grill the bacon until almost crisp.
- Grill the chicken and brush them after each turn with some of the herb butter.
- When the chicken is golden brown add a slice of cheese on each chicken thigh till it melts.
- Now build the sandwich. Start with the heel. Put on some mayonnaise, finely chopped lettuce, 4 grilled chicken thighs, 3 slices of bacon, a few onion rings, and the crown of the bun.
