The best grilled chicken sandwhich

If you talk about a chicken sandwich I don’t always need a deep-fried one. I want grilled chicken.

I am going to show you how to make the best-grilled chicken sandwich in the world.

Ingredients

  • 8 chicken thighs of free-range chicken
  • salt and pepper
  • Japanese mayonnaise
  • lettuce
  • finely sliced onion rings
  • 8 slices of cheese
  • 6 slices of bacon
  • 2 hamburger buns

For the butter

  • 250 grs of butter
  • 1 shallot
  • 2 garlic cloves
  • 2 tbsp of chopped parsley
  • salt and pepper

How to

  1. Cut open a plastic bag and place a chicken thigh inside with a little olive oil.
  2. pound it with the back of a heavy pan. Do this with all the thighs.
  3. Season the chicken with some salt and pepper.
  4. Chop the shallot and press the garlic cloves. Add it with the butter with the parsley, and the salt, and pepper. Mix it all up.
  5. Fire up your grill, slice the buns, spread on some of the butter and toast them
  6. Grill the bacon until almost crisp.
  7. Grill the chicken and brush them after each turn with some of the herb butter.
  8. When the chicken is golden brown add a slice of cheese on each chicken thigh till it melts.
  9. Now build the sandwich. Start with the heel. Put on some mayonnaise, finely chopped lettuce, 4 grilled chicken thighs, 3 slices of bacon, a few onion rings, and the crown of the bun.
