Rucola Basil Sauce

This sauce can be used as a dressing for salads, a dip for vegetables, or a topping for grilled meats and fish. Enjoy!

Prep Time 5 mins
Course Sauce

  • Food Processor

  • 80 grams rucola
  • 20 grams fresh basil
  • 100 ml beef broth
  • 100 ml olive oil
  • 65 ml mayonaise
  • 1 tsp black pepper
  • 1 tsp sea salt

  • In a blender, add the rucola and basil leaves along with the beef broth, olive oil, mayonnaise and black pepper. Blend everything together until it becomes a smooth and creamy consistency.
  • Check the seasoning and adjust it according to your taste preferences. I've added 1 teaspoon of coarse sea salt.
  • Transfer the sauce to a jar or airtight container and store it in the fridge until ready to use.
