Roasted garlic chili pepper hot sauce

A good hot sauce doesn’t need much. With a few basic ingredients, you make the most delicious hot sauce. To make sure it’s up to pitmaster standards we roast it.

This is a garlicky red pepper hot sauce with a good punch that you can use on your sandwiches and more. The sauce is very hot at the beginning but will balance out over time.

  • 4 red hot chili peppers
  • 1 onion
  • 6 cloves of garlic
  • 2 tbsp of olive oil
  • 1 tbsp of vinegar
  • salt and pepper to taste

How to

  1. Slice the onion in quarter inch slices and peel the garlic cloves. Grill the onion, garlic, and chili peppers in a cast-iron skillet or on your grill.
  2. Put it all in a blender and grind it to a puree. Pour in the olive oil and vinegar and give it a stir. Season it with a little salt and pepper.
