Ingredients

  • 150 g / 5.3 oz ground beef

  • 1 tbsp yellow mustard

  • 1 tsp Texas BBQ seasoning
  • 1 hamburger bun

  • 30 g / 1 oz fried onions

  • 20 g / 3/4 oz pickles, diced

  • 1 tbsp ketchup

How to

  1. Form the ground beef into a patty of about 150 g and spread 1 tablespoon of mustard evenly over the top.
  2. Sprinkle 1 teaspoon of Texas BBQ seasoning on top of the mustard.
  3. Place the patty mustard-side down in a hot pan and fry until the crust is golden and caramelized.
  4. Flip the burger and cook the other side to your desired doneness.
  5. Meanwhile, toast the hamburger bun in a dry pan or under the grill until golden brown.
  6.  Place the cooked burger on the bottom half of the bun, then top with fried onions and diced pickles.
  7. Drizzle with ketchup and close the bun with the top half. Serve immediately.
