7 grams or 1/4 oz. dry instant yeast
1 tbsp sugar
150 ml / ½ cup lukewarm water
125 ml / ½ cup milk
7 grams or 1/4 oz. salt
1 tbsp peanut oil

How to
- In a stand mixer, combine the flour, yeast and sugar.
- Gradually add the lukewarm water while mixing.
- Slowly pour in the milk.
- Allow it to mix for a moment.
- Finally, add the salt.
- Let it mix for about 10 minutes.
- Cover the bowl with foil and let it rise for at least 90 minutes in a warm place.
- After rising, remove the dough from the bowl and place it on a sheet of baking paper.
- Roll it out gently with a rolling pin until it's about half an inch thick.
- Use a round cutter to cut out the buns.
- Brush them with peanut oil and fold them in half.
- Cut squares of baking paper so that each bun has its own piece.
- Fill a steamer pot with water and bring it to a boil.
- Place the buns with the baking paper in the steamer basket and steam for 10 minutes.
- Serve them with something delicious, like Char Siu, and enjoy!
