How to

  1. Preheat your BBQ to 140°C or 280°F.
  2. Use a hamburger press to shape the beef patties.
  3. Slice the onions into rings.
  4. Place the patties and onion slices on a  flat top griddle.
  5. Grill for a few minutes on each side, until cooked to your preference.
  6. Season the patties with a pinch of salt and top each with a slice of Cheddar cheese.
  7. Close the BBQ lid to melt the cheese.
  8. To assemble, start with a slice of onion, followed by a beef patty, a drizzle of sauce, another patty, and finish with another slice of onion.
  9. Wrap in baking paper for a handheld delight.
