How to

  1. Combine 1 cup of sunflower oil with 1/4 cup of Pitmaster X chicken seasoning.

  2. Marinate the chicken overnight in the seasoning and oil mixture.

  3. Preheat your barbecue and adjust it to a low temperature.

  4. Grill the marinated chicken on the barbecue until it develops a smoky flavor and reaches an internal temperature of 75°C or 175°F.

  5. Once the chicken achieves a deliciously grilled exterior, brush on some BBQ sauce.

  6. Slice three bell peppers and three onions, then sauté them.

  7. Prepare a pan by greasing it with oil and lining the bottom with parchment paper.

  8. To assemble your BBQ meat pie, begin with a layer of chicken, followed by vegetables and rice.

  9. Repeat this layering until all ingredients are used.

  10. Pour chicken broth into the pan until it reaches a finger's breadth above the rice.

  11. Simmer the layered pan on low heat for 10 minutes with the lid on, allowing the flavors to blend.

  12. Remove it from the heat and let it sit uncovered for an additional 10 minutes.

  13. Finally, flip the pan onto a serving platter, glaze it with BBQ sauce, and add a spicy kick with jalapeños.
