  • 50 grams / 1.8 oz butter

  • 50 grams / 1.8 oz all purpose flour

  • 250 ml 1 cup 50% fat milk

  • 150 grams / 5.3 oz shredded cheese

How to

  1.  Heat up a pan and melt 50 grams or 1.8 oz of butter.
  2. Let the bubbles come up all trough the butter equally without letting the butter burn. 
  3. Add 50 grams or 1.8 oz of all-purpose flour to the butter.
  4. Lower the heat and slowly cook the flour until it becomes light brown while stirring.
  5. Add  250 ml or 1 cup of milk gradually while stirring. Make sure you get a thin but creamy texture without  lumps.
  6. Add 150 grams or 5.3 oz shredded cheese to the sauce.
  7. Let the cheese melt while stirring and let it become a creamy and rich sauce.
