Sometimes you just need a basic dry rub and sauce combination for spareribs that always work. You can make this in advance and store it in a container for every weekend barbecue.
the dry rub has a shelf life of 4 weeks, provided it is kept cool and dark.
The sauce you can keep good in the fridge for 8 to 10 days but generally, it will be gone within a few days.
- 1 part fine salt
- 1 part paprika powder
- 1/8 part garlic
- ¼ part onion powder
- Sprinkle on the rub and smoke the ribs as you see in the video.
- The last couple of minutes you brush on the sauce and let it thicken so it gets a bit sticky.
