How to
- In a glass jar with a lid, combine 1/4 cup of mayonnaise, 3 tablespoons of ketchup, 1 teaspoon of mustard, and 1/2 teaspoon of Worcestershire sauce.
- Add 1 teaspoon of all-purpose BBQ seasoning for a smoky flavor.
- For a tangy twist, mix in 1 tablespoon of pickle juice. If you like extra crunch and flavor, you can also include an optional teaspoon of diced pickles.
- Secure the lid tightly and shake the jar vigorously to mix all the ingredients well. To check the consistency, run a spoon through the sauce.
- It should be smooth enough to pour, yet thick enough to leave a thin layer on the spoon. If you swipe a finger across, it shouldn’t slide off easily. Adjust the seasoning or thickness to your preference by adding more spices or pickle juice. Enjoy your homemade BBQ sauce with grilled meats, sandwiches, or as a dipping sauce.
- Store the sauce in an air tight container for 24 hours to let the flavors develop.
