BBQ rub mayonnaise

We needed a flavored mayonnaise to grill a Wagyu steak with. That’s what we do. We tried a few different kinds of mayonnaise and this was clearly the winner.
Just brush the mayonnaise on your steak and sear it to perfection. If you want, you can put extra BBQ rub mayo on the table to dip.

Dry rub

  • tbsp sweet paprika
  • tbsp Fleur de sel
  • 1 tbsp oregano dried
  • 1 tbsp basil dried
  • 1 tbsp onion powder
  • ½ tbsp garlic powder
  • ½ tbsp thyme dried
  • ½ tbsp ground black pepper
  • ½ tbsp cayenne pepper


  • Mix the mayonnaise with one tbsp of the dry rub. That’s it.
